Nadaka has conquered Muay Thai. Now he is curious about kickboxing. The reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion makes his kickboxing debut against Myanmar challenger Har Ling Om at ONE SAMURAI 3 on September 12, airing via live.onefc.com from Tokyo, Japan, with a knockout firmly on his mind.
The 25-year-old Eiwa Sports Gym product has been virtually untouchable since 2019, riding a 41-fight winning streak that includes a perfect 5-0 ONE record.
His 67-6 career record speaks to a level of consistency that few fighters in the world can match. But with a new rule set comes a fresh challenge, and Nadaka arrives at his kickboxing debut with a very specific objective in mind.
"I'm absolutely aiming for a knockout. I've had a lot of decision wins lately, so I want to really rediscover that feeling of putting someone away for good," he said.
The kickboxing adventure is not born out of a burning desire to conquer a second discipline. For Nadaka, Muay Thai remains the sport closest to his heart, and he is making no secret of where his true loyalties lie.
"If the chance is there [to become a two-sport ONE World Champion], sure. But, honestly, I'm not that attached to kickboxing itself as a discipline. Muay Thai is still what I love most," he explained.
Standing across from him is a challenger who has no intention of playing his supporting role quietly. Har Ling Om, 28, carries a 32-6 career record into his own first ONE kickboxing appearance.
The Myanmar fighter has picked up two wins inside the ring and arrives in Tokyo with a bold prediction.
"I watched his past matches, and there weren't many of them where he got a knockout. It's rare. So his power isn't that great," he said.
With that analysis in hand, Har Ling Om has set a simple target for the main event.
"In this match, my goal is simple — I want to knock him out, and I want to win the bonus," he added.
