BRAVE CF Bantamweight champion Nkosi Ndebele has expressed his openness to a third encounter with Jose ‘Shorty’ Torres, provided the fight takes place in Africa. The rivalry between the two fighters ignited at BRAVE CF 73 in Colombia, where they battled for the vacant BRAVE CF Bantamweight title.

Their initial clash ended in a split decision victory for Torres, sparking controversy as Ndebele contested the judges' decision, echoing sentiments shared by many within BRAVE Nation, including BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid.

Determined to settle the score, Ndebele secured a rematch just four months later at BRAVE CF 80 in Bahrain. This time, he left no room for doubt, forcing Torres to submit in the third round and claiming the Bantamweight title.

While Torres called for an immediate rematch post-BRAVE CF 80, Ndebele initially showed reluctance, opting to pursue new challenges. However, the prospect of defending his title on African soil has reignited Ndebele's interest in facing Torres once again.

Expressing his desire for a home advantage, Ndebele emphasized, “I want it to be in my home soil. In my African continent." He highlighted that the previous bouts favored Torres, given his connections to Colombia and Bahrain, and now seeks to shift the battleground to Africa.

If the trilogy fight materializes in Africa, it would mark a historic milestone in MMA, becoming the first-ever trilogy series with each bout taking place on a different continent. Notably, BRAVE Combat Federation stands as the sole international MMA organization to have hosted events in Africa, with plans for a debut event in Mauritius scheduled for May, potentially facilitating Ndebele's wish.
