Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai stands on the verge of a career-changing opportunity, and the Thai striker believes a spectacular performance against PTT Apichart Farm will finally earn him a six-figure ONE Championship contract.
The bantamweight Muay Thai showdown takes place at ONE Friday Fights 137 on December 19 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, closing out the final event of 2025.
Despite riding a four-fight winning streak and holding an 11-5 promotional record, the 27-year-old Kulabdam enters this bout with surprising humility regarding his chances against PTT.
"Honestly, I consider myself the underdog against PTT. Speaking purely on ring experience, he is far superior to me. The only thing I am confident I can compete with is my experience in small gloves," Kulabdam said.
The two-time Muay Thai World Champion has identified specific aspects of PTT's game that he plans to exploit while remaining wary of his opponent's proven durability.
"His strengths are his toughness and durability, and his weakness is his less-than-stellar defense system, which should give me plenty of openings to attack. But it all depends on whether I can drop him because he's been so durable in his last two fights," he analyzed.
PTT enters with a staggering 112-24 career record, representing the type of extensive professional experience that commands respect regardless of recent results.
However, Kulabdam refuses to play it safe, targeting a finish that will make his case for a main roster contract undeniable.
"I am determined to finish PTT. I am very confident that if I win via knockout, or at least win by a good-looking unanimous decision, it will be time for me to earn a contract," the Thai striker proclaimed.
The stakes at ONE Friday Fights 137 extend beyond just another victory for Kulabdam. A knockout utilizing his signature left hand would provide the definitive statement needed to secure financial security and main roster status.
