ONE Championship has parted ways with five athletes, including former submission grappling champion Danielle Kelly, in a major roster shake-up according to a report by the Bangkok Post.
The promotion also confirmed the releases through updated athlete profiles on its official website, where Kelly, Meng Bo, Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg, Xie Wei, and Antonio Mammarella now carry "Released" status.
Kelly's departure marks the most significant casualty among the cuts.
The former ONE Atomweight Submission Grappling World Champion had been struggling to recapture her form, dropping consecutive decisions to Brazilian standout Mayssa Bastos within a four-month span.
Her most recent defeat came in December 2024, following an earlier loss to the same opponent in August.
The Silver Fox BJJ product finishes her ONE career with a 3-2-1 record that included impressive submission victories over Cambodia's Jessa Khan and Japan's Ayaka Miura during her peak years.
China's Meng Bo also released after a turbulent 6-4 run in the organization. The Tiger Wang Gym fighter's final bout saw her outpointed by fellow Chinese competitor Xiong Jing Nan at ONE Friday Fights 100 this past March.
Her tenure showcased both explosive finishing ability and inconsistency. While she delivered memorable knockouts, including a lightning-fast 24-second finish of Philippines' Jenelyn Olsim, Meng Bo couldn't maintain the momentum needed for championship contention in both strawweight and atomweight divisions.
Mongolian veteran Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg becomes another casualty after compiling a 5-4 record.
The Zorky MMA representative's recent slide included a submission defeat to Philippines' Jhanlo Mark Sangiao in July, representing his fourth setback in five appearances.
Chinese finisher Xie Wei's exit comes despite his reputation as a dangerous knockout artist. "The Hunter" maintained perfect finishing rates throughout his career but couldn't overcome a three-fight losing streak that concluded with his July defeat to Japan's Tatsumitsu Wada.
Australian newcomer Antonio Mammarella had a short-lived tenure. He failed to record a win during his time with the promotion. Ultimately, unable to establish a foothold, he was cut from the roster.
