In pursuit of the BRAVE Combat Federation's Super Welterweight world title, DR Congo's standout fighter, Eliezer Kubanza, is gearing up for a dynamic 2024 campaign. The knockout sensation has taken to social media to issue challenges to two specific opponents, aiming to secure his shot at the coveted championship.
Kubanza's first call-out is directed at Marcin Bandel, expressing his eagerness to face the former world champion. Proposing to share the undercard with Mohammad Fakhreddine, who is eyeing a return and a shot at his third world title, Kubanza sees the potential matchup with Bandel as an honor.
However, the spotlight intensifies as Kubanza shifts his focus back to a longstanding adversary, Levy Carriel. Unearthing an old challenge from the Frenchman, Kubanza shared a video on his social media platforms, urging Carriel to sign the contract for their impending clash. In a heated message, Kubanza accused Carriel of evading the fight and boldly declared his intention to knock him out:
"Sign the contract, Levy! You know what I mean, you don’t want to sign that paper. I really want to fight you. Don’t be a YouTuber type, ranting s*** over here. I’ll make sure no one is around to pick your old a** up! Just sign the contract and come prove it. I’ll knock your a** out! Mark my words!", declared Kubanza.
The history between Eliezer Kubanza and Levy Carriel dates back to their scheduled encounter at BRAVE CF 74 in France, a bout Kubanza was forced to withdraw from. Carriel went on to face Mathieu Rakotondrazanany, securing one of the most remarkable knockouts in the history of BRAVE CF. Meanwhile, Kubanza made a triumphant return at BRAVE CF 79, claiming another sensational KO victory. Both knockouts are now contenders for BRAVE CF KO of The Year.
