The Minister of Sports of DR Congo, François Kabulo, welcomed Kubanza for an official visit to recognize his exceptional achievements.

Kubanza's stellar performance in 2023 has earned him a nomination for the Breakout Fighter of The Year, a testament to his impactful campaign in the world's premier MMA organization. His sensational knockout victory over Adel Ibrahim at BRAVE CF 79 has secured a place among the four nominees for KO of The Year, showcasing the immediate impact Kubanza made upon joining BRAVE CF.

Following his debut with the organization, Eliezer's triumph resonated across DR Congo, with thousands celebrating his victory. His visit to the Ministry of Sports further underscores the nation's support for his burgeoning career as Kubanza eyes a world title shot in 2024.

Renowned as "King Kong," Kubanza had a remarkable amateur career, notably defeating Ramazan Gitinov, considered one of the greatest amateur fighters.
