BRAVE Combat Federation Unveils Nominees for Top Submissions in Annual Awards

Continuing its tradition of recognizing excellence within the MMA realm, BRAVE Combat Federation has now revealed the nominees for the top submissions in its yearly awards. Following the thrilling nominations for the best knockouts, the spotlight now shifts to the fighters who demonstrated exceptional grappling prowess and technique.

The selected nominees have showcased extraordinary skill sets, with their submissions often displaying a sense of urgency and importance in the context of their fights. Notably, two of the nominated submissions unfolded in main events, underlining the significance of these moments.

The first nominee is Ismail Naurdiev, who made a resounding Middleweight debut in the main event of BRAVE CF 79. Demonstrating swift and precise technique, ‘’The Austrian Wonderboy’’ secured a guillotine choke in just over a minute, resulting in the retirement of Tahar Hadbi.

The second nomination highlights the Iranian grappling maestro Mojtaba Nasiri, recognized for his arm-triangle choke at BRAVE CF 76. The submission left Jefri Arianto unconscious in Indonesia, showcasing Nasiri's exceptional grappling prowess.

In the spotlight for the third nomination is Luiz Cado, who marked his first BRAVE CF main event at BRAVE CF 78 with a remarkable kneebar victory over Vernon Ramos. This victory marked Cado's third consecutive win in as many promotional outings in the Brazilian Super Welterweight division.

Closing the list of nominees is Jack Grant's last-minute armbar at BRAVE CF 80. Grant, who dominated throughout the fight against Ahmed Labban, chose to pursue the finish rather than coasting to a decision victory. With just one second left on the clock, Grant secured the armbar, showcasing both strategy and precision.
