BRAVE Combat Federation Announces Launch of BRAVE CF 81 in Ljubljana, Slovenia

BRAVE Combat Federation's President, Mohammed Shahid, spearheaded the unveiling of the first BRAVE CF event of the year in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Scheduled to take place at the Hala Tivoli Arena on April 20, BRAVE CF 81 promises to be a spectacular showcase of mixed martial arts (MMA) talent, marking the organization's return to Slovenia after the success of last year's BRAVE CF 70, also held in April.

Collaborative Efforts for MMA Development: The official press conference, which marked the commencement of BRAVE CF 81, saw the participation of key figures from the MMA community, including Zlatko Mahic, president of WFC (World Fighting Championships); Kerrith Brown, president of IMMAF (International MMA Federation); and Luka Nikolic, president of the Serbian MMA Federation. Mohammed Shahid expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration between national and international federations, emphasizing its pivotal role in advancing MMA in Europe.

A New Era for European MMA: Shahid highlighted the significance of BRAVE CF's presence in Europe, underscoring the organization's unparalleled global reach and its impact on MMA across the continent. With 22 events hosted in 13 European countries, BRAVE CF stands as the foremost MMA organization in Europe, poised to usher in a new era for the sport. Shahid's vision for 2024 includes further expansion into European markets, with plans to introduce BRAVE CF events in multiple countries.

Elevating MMA to Mainstream Status: In his address, Shahid outlined the ambitious goal of positioning MMA alongside mainstream sports such as football and basketball. He stressed the need for a collaborative effort to develop MMA at grassroots levels, advocate for its inclusion in the Olympics, and establish a sustainable business model to support athletes and industry stakeholders.

Upcoming Shows and Future Plans: In addition to BRAVE CF 81, BRAVE Combat Federation announced its partnership with WFC for another event scheduled for October 19, 2024. The organization plans to unveil its full calendar for the year, promising returns to previous hosting nations and debuts in new European countries, as hinted by President Shahid.
