Epic Featherweight Fight: Bogatov vs. Abdrashitov at BRAVE CF 72

The Featherweight division of BRAVE Combat Federation has witnessed legendary battles throughout its history. This month in Riffa, Bahrain, another epic showdown awaits in the main event of BRAVE CF 72 as 145-pound champion Roman Bogatov defends his title against Nemat Abdrashitov.

While both fighters share some similarities, their unique paths highlight their contrasting styles. Undefeated inside the BRAVE CF cage, Russia's Bogatov and Kyrgyzstan's Abdrashitov will not only vie for the coveted golden strap but also compete for recognition, as one of their perfect records will be broken in this highly anticipated "Clash of Styles" that promises to redefine the division.

Bogatov has been nearly flawless since his professional debut in 2016, with only one unanimous decision loss in fourteen fights. With his impressive wrestling and grappling skills, the former Russian Master of Sports in Freestyle Wrestling and MMA is a grinder who excels at testing his opponents' endurance and technique.

In his most recent bouts, the reigning BRAVE CF Featherweight champion has spent a total of 55 minutes in the cage, securing two unanimous decision wins and one split decision win over Nurzhan Akishev, Abdulmutalip Gairbekov, and Tae Kyun Kim, respectively. Prior to his sole loss in 2020, Bogatov enjoyed an incredible ten-fight win streak and has remained unbeaten since January 2021. Now, he seeks to claim his fourth victory against an equally undefeated opponent in the premier global MMA promotion.

In contrast to Bogatov's grind-it-out approach, Abdrashitov holds the record for the most knockouts in BRAVE CF's Featherweight division with three early stoppages in just 18 minutes and four seconds of total cage time.

Known for his explosive knockout power, Abdrashitov is also a formidable submission artist, with seven of his victories coming via tap, choke, or armbar. Currently riding a six-fight win streak, including four KO/TKO finishes, Abdrashitov refuses to go the distance and consistently delivers electrifying performances.
