A prospective number-one contender bout between Jose "Shorty" Torres and Nkosi "The Future" Ndebele has been scheduled for Ljubljana, Slovenia, on April 23 as part of BRAVE CF 70, marking the first time this year that the promotion has opened its Bantamweight stable doors.

Ndebele, who is currently rated fifth, has been in fantastic shape and has a five-fight winning streak going back to 2019. He has dedicated himself to BRAVE Combat Federation since going pro, where he has built a solid reputation by improving as a fighter and moving up the BRAVE CF ranks.

His most recent victory came at BRAVE CF 66 when he defeated local hero Fajar "Macho Kamacho" of Indonesia by TKO in the second round. He has the once-in-a-lifetime chance to level up at BRAVE CF 70 when he takes on the illustrious Torres and earns a significant reward for his labours.

His reputation already precedes him. He has a perfect record inside the BRAVE CF cage and previously held titles in both the flyweight and bantamweight divisions of Titan FC before joining the most international MMA organisation, BRAVE Combat Federation.

When he was scheduled to compete for the BRAVE CF Flyweight title on two occasions, Torres came close to winning a third global championship. Unfortunately, the untimely death of his father, the pandemic, and problems with weight-cutting put an end to his hopes.

In order to avoid future weight-cut issues, the current fifth-ranked BRAVE CF Flyweight moved up a division. Upon returning to 135 pounds, he had a fantastic performance, thrashing Jordan's Izzedine Al-Derbani at BRAVE CF 65.

Many European MMA talents, including Slovenia's Luka Podkrajsek, Miha Ferlic, Marko Drmonjic, David Forster, Samo Petje, Lithuania's Pavel Dalidko, and Bosnia-Erko Herzegovina's Jun, will be on display at BRAVE CF 70 for fans of the BRAVE Nation.

BRAVE Combat Federation will once more collaborate with the top local organisation WFC, which returns to action with WFC 25 in co-promotion with the BRAVE CF 70 show, in order to further its goal of empowering the European MMA landscape.
