Jose "Shorty" Torres, a fellow top Bantamweight fighter, is what Nkosi "The Future" Ndebele believes will serve as the ideal springboard for a title shot.

Speaking from Bali, where he will compete in BRAVE CF 66 on Saturday against Indonesia's Fajar "Macho Kamacho," Ndebele discussed what and who makes sense for him going forward.

“I want an opponent who is ready for a title fight. Whom they (BRAVE CF) feel is ready for a title fight," says the number-five ranked BRAVE CF Bantamweight athlete.

"I was speaking to my manager, and we have noticed that Jose “Shorty” Torres has moved up to Bantamweight, and I have figured out that he is also going after the title. Jose has been in the game for a very long time, he has done well, and he is a good opponent, so if they can give me someone like him, or anyone for that matter. I have never turned down a fight from BRAVE Combat Federation. I am ready for anything, but the goal is the title shot. So I will take on anyone willing and ready for that,” he said.

After a last-minute cancellation at BRAVE CF 64, the South African superstar is eager to resume his title chase. Ndebele's pursuit of the title was slowed somewhat when Matiss Zaharovs of Latvia withdrew just before their penultimate bout because of a health issue.

In a Bantamweight match at BRAVE CF 65, Torres triumphed admirably against the charismatic Izzeddine Al Derbani. This marked his comeback to the BRAVE CF cage. With three victories and one draw, the former Titan FC two-division (Flyweight and Bantamweight) champion is still unblemished.

As he and Ndebele pursue Brad Katona of Canada, the BRAVE CF champion, "Shorty" now seeks to reestablish his reputation in the Bantamweight division with a fresh lease of life.

Ndebele is currently unbeaten at bantamweight and has won four straight fights. His most recent triumph came at BRAVE CF 60 over Colombian MMA superstar Eduardo Mora.

On November 26th, the former All-African Gold medalist seeks to add Fajar to his outstanding finish rate and 60% stoppage record. The fastest-growing MMA organisation will make its long-awaited return to Indonesia at BRAVE CF 66. Go to www.bravecf.com for more details about BRAVE CF 66.
