In the main event of BRAVE Combat Federation's return to Indonesia, two of the best 125-pound fighters in the world square off in a crucial contest for the Flyweight division's future. Asu Almabaev will face Muhammad Idrisov, one of Bahrain's brightest stars in the lighter-weight classes, in an effort to solidify his position as the man to follow

Almabaev had a memorable 2021 after taking down Aleksander Doslkalchuk through a rear-naked choke at BRAVE CF 53 and winning the submission of the year and breakout fighter of the year BRAVE CF awards.

Almabaev increased his winning run this year with two more victories, defeating Imram Magaramov at BRAVE CF 57 and then defeating Zach Makovsky at BRAVE CF 60 for the biggest victory of his mixed martial arts career. He holds the top spot in Kazakhstan, Central Asia, and the Middle East and is largely regarded as one of the best Flyweights in the world.

Now he seeks to secure a fight for the Flyweight title against KHK Team Bahrain's unbeaten fighter Idrisov, who has a 7-0 record and a renowned amateur career to advance. He has earned a gold medal at the European Championship and a silver medal at the World Championship while competing for Bahrain in the IMMAF.

Idrisov spent the majority of his career as a bantamweight but is now looking to make noise at flyweight. He will be hoping that his size can make the difference against Almabaev.

The fastest-growing MMA organisation in the world returns to Indonesia with BRAVE CF 66 on November 26 in Bali, following a four-year absence.
