Former ONE Championship champion Aung La N Sang is interested in seeing a showdown between Martin Nguyen and Garry Tonon.

The Burmese Python revealed the same during one of his interviews with SCMP MMA and noted that both are great fighters.

“That would be a great fight, both are great fighters, they were supposed to fight when Martin had the belt so this is the perfect time and he got to do it with me in Colorado that would be amazing. If that happens that would be amazing. If not, he’ll be there as well to support me. Either way it’s fine,” Aung La noted in the interview (h/t Sportskeeda).

Nguyen, had interestingly called out Tonon as well and hopes to lock horns with the American in the United States.

"The Situ-Asian" hopes to face "The Lion Killer" Garry Tonon, who he was initially supposed to face in a ONE world championship match, at the historic event. Nguyen has additionally shown an interest in taking on the former world champion challenger at ONE Fight Night 10 on Amazon Video.
