Five rounds were not enough to settle this rivalry conclusively. ONE Championship has confirmed that ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Asadula Imangazaliev and Aslamjon Ortikov will run it back at The Inner Circle 39 on Friday, November 20.
This high-profile clash goes down live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, airing on live.onefc.com, with the first title defense also serving as a quarterfinal bout for the 2026 ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix.
Their first meeting in June went the full five rounds before Imangazaliev emerged with a split-decision victory to claim the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship and become the first-ever Russian to capture a ONE Muay Thai World Title.
Both men had built their reputations through the ONE Friday Fights weekly series, earning US$100,000 main roster contracts before rising to the top of the flyweight division. Their clash was billed as a battle of two undefeated forces, and it delivered on every expectation.
Imangazaliev, 23, arrives as one of the most breathtaking strikers in the world. The Team Mehdi Zatout and Team Chingiz Allazov product carries a perfect 13-0 career record and a 9-0 ONE slate into his first title defense, having made his ONE debut in July 2024 and claimed the championship just two years later in remarkable fashion.
His striking arsenal is unlike anything the flyweight division has seen, combining spinning attacks, flying techniques, knees, elbows, and punches into an unpredictable and relentless package that has given every opponent serious problems.
Ortikov, 23, carries the raging ambition of a fighter who came agonizingly close to claiming the title in their first encounter. The TC Muaythai and Sport Club Shakhriyor product holds a 10-1 ONE record, with that solitary loss coming against Imangazaliev in June.
The Uzbek phenom has had months to study what went wrong in their first fight and prepare the adjustments that could flip the result and deliver him the ONE World Title glory that just slipped away.
