Anthony Dizy Earns BRAVE CF Contract with Courageous Performance

"La Masse," as he is affectionately known, showcased the essence of bravery as he stepped up to face Ukraine's Vladyslav Rudniev on just four days' notice at BRAVE CF 74 in Nantes, France. Dizy accepted the challenge after fellow Frenchman Axel Sola withdrew from the Lightweight co-main event, demonstrating his willingness to answer the call and deliver a performance that would earn global recognition.

Although Dizy did not secure the victory, he left an indelible mark on the MMA world, impressing millions of fans within the BRAVE Nation, including BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid. In recognition of his valiant effort, President Shahid rewarded Dizy with a multi-fight contract.

"Anthony was hanging out and ready to watch the fights, and then he got called up to fight on short notice. I give him a lot of credit for how dangerous he was and how hard he pushed Vladylslav," President Shahid commented, emphasizing Dizy's remarkable display of courage.

From the very first bell, Dizy demonstrated his upper hand in the bout, effectively countering Rudniev's grappling and wrestling exchanges. Notably, in the second round, Dizy left both Rudniev and the H Arena crowd astonished when he exhibited his flexibility and high-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills, escaping a deep armbar attempt.

However, the strain of the short preparation began to manifest itself towards the end of the second round, causing Dizy to slow down. Rudniev capitalized on this opportunity, ultimately securing a tightly contested unanimous decision victory (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) in the only fight of the night to go the distance.

Despite the loss, mixed martial arts experts and fans recognized the exceptional effort put forth by Dizy, considering the challenging circumstances. President Shahid expressed his admiration, stating, "This man grappled with a four-time Combat Sambo World Champion," underscoring Dizy's extraordinary performance despite the short notice.
