AMS India and Gracie Barra Join Forces to Boost BJJ and MMA

The Academy of Martial Science (AMS), India, has proudly announced a strategic partnership with Gracie Barra, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, represented by the esteemed Professor Isaac Toledo Dull, a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). This collaboration marks a significant milestone. 

Professor Dull, a renowned BJJ and MMA athlete, joins AMS as an offsite Senior Technical Advisor. His extensive expertise and distinguished career as both a competitor and coach are expected to bring a new level of excellence to MMA and BJJ training regime in the gym and the region. The partnership aims to elevate the sports to unprecedented heights by providing a structured and comprehensive education system.

“The aim of this strategic association is to take MMA and Brazilian jiu jitsu to new heights in the country and to impart a structured education in MMA coherent with any other combat sport in the world. This planned system not only helps to develop top notch competing athletes and coaches but also caters to MMA enthusiasts who want to take up MMA as a formal combat sport education,” Academy of Martial Science (AMS) led by Kru Vikram Mysore Nagaraj noted in an official statement. 

Born in Mato Grosso, Brazil, the 41-year-old Professor Dull began his BJJ journey at the age of 19. He trained under the guidance of Professor Adilson Esteves and later Professor Frederico Pimentel. Since 2011, he has participated in and won numerous promotions and championships, solidifying his reputation as a formidable athlete.

Professor Dull’s teaching experience spans across various countries, including India, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and France. His global teaching experience and diverse background make him an invaluable asset to the AMS team.

Currently training at Gracie Barra Matriz in Rio de Janeiro, Professor Dull’s role as Senior Technical Advisor will involve designing and overseeing training programs that incorporate global best practices.
