Mizo MMA fighter Zarmawia talks about his gold medal win at the Indore Open

Zarmawia, who won the Gold Medal in the Lightweight Category at the Indian Open MMA Championship which was held in Indore, talks about his gold medal at the Indian Open MMA Championship, MMA in Mizoram, and more.

A Mizo Fighter, Zarmawia talks about the love that Mizo people have for fighting. Recently, Mizoram boxing star Lalrinsanga Tlau (Sangtea) had won the WBC World Youth Title when another Mizo Boxing star Nutlai Lalbiakkima had won the IBA Boxing Title. The Gold Medal win of Zarmawia further underlines the combat sports talent that Mizoram holds. Mizoram had also hosted a string of exciting fights through Mizoram Fight League (MFL) which was hosted on ZONET.

The Indian Open MMA championship organized by MMA India Federation was held in Indore from September 10 to September 12, 2021. The event served as the selection trial for the IMMAF World Championship in Kazakhstan which is scheduled to happen in November 2021.
