UFC has released the list of top 10 newcomers for the year 2021 and the list is topped by Casey O Neill. O Neill, who currently holds a professional MMA record of 8-0 to her name and has been undefeated in the UFC with three wins.
She made her UFC debut back in February 2021 with a TKO win over Shana Dobson and then went on to submit Lara Procopio a few months later. The biggest win in 2021 for Casey came against Antonina Shevchenko.
Casey and Antonina fought in October 2021 at UFC Fight Night 193 and Casey managed to stop Antonina in the second round to remain undefeated in the promotion. Elsewhere, another standout in the Women’s division Manon Fiorot came in at second in the list.
The former IMMAF World Champion Fiorot also secured three wins in the UFC in 2021 with two stoppages and a decision win. Fiorot holds a professional record of 8-1 to her name now as well.
Michael Chandler came in at third in the list followed by Chris Curtis and Erin Blanchfield. A former Bellator champion Chandler came into the UFC and made a memorable debut when he stopped Dan Hooker back in January 2021. Chandler, however, suffered two defeats after this when he lost to Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje.
Lupita Godinez was sixth when highly-touted Paddy Pimblett was 9th on the list by UFC. You can see the complete list below.
