The much-awaited Kumite 1 League Warrior Hunt has been delayed for some time and the Founder Mohamedali Budhwani has come out with an update regarding the same.
Latest Update as of August 22, 2021: Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt aims to provide a platform like TUF in India
Budhwani appeared live on the official Facebook page of Kumite1 League on October 4 and noted that the show will be happening despite the delay. He noted that they have already approached channels and celebrities.
‘We did a good start for the Warrior Hunt and we got a great response as well. We’ve talked to some celebrities and channels and got a good response from them as well. But as you know, the position of the market is not the best right now and due to this, sponsorships are being a problem. Secondly, this is a new sport and some platforms are hesitating to back new sports. But we are trying out best,’ he said.
Budhwani went on to add that the team does not plan to do a small scale show and added that the wait will be worth it.
“We will be doing the show for sure even though things are getting a bit delayed. If it want it to do on a small scale, we can do it now but we don’t want to do in such a manner. It has to be done in such a way that the entire nation is able to participate, notice and understand about the sport. This is why there is a delay. So I’m requesting you to be patient during this delay. We will be giving a time of one to one and a half months for the next stage. We will be giving an update soon regarding the celebrities and channels,” he added.
