The Sixth Kerala State Muay-Thai Championship is being held on 21 November 2021 in Kozhikode. The event is being conducted at the Gokulam Public School in Calicut and will be hosted by the Sports Kempo Association of Kerala and Muay-Thai Association of Kozhikode along with Kerala State Muay-Thai Association. The event is also supported by the United Muay-Thai Association of India (UMAI) which is affiliated with the International Federation of Muay-Thai Association (IFMA).

More than 70 athletes from across the state of Kerala are set to compete at the event which will be live-streamed on the Kerala Fight World YouTube Channel.

The state championship is expected to have prominence with the UMAI National Muay-Thai Championship coming up in Manipur in the month of December. December will also see the IFMA World Championship happening in which a string of Kerala athletes is participating. Kerala State Muay-Thai Association’s Binu Joseph, who will also be at the event as an official, noted in an exclusive that there are high hopes for the athletes competing from the state for the World Championship.
