Husein Kadimagomaev feels like he’s in a good place to bounce back from the toughest loss of his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) career.

In the 22-year-old Swiss standout’s last outing under the BRAVE Combat Federation banner, he suffered an excruciating defeat at the hands of South Korean contender Tae Kyun Kim via third-round stoppage.

Despite tasting the first loss of his MMA run, Kadimagomaev gained a new perspective on his priorities as a competitor in the sport.

Undeterred, Kadimagomaev is staying positive and plans to use the lessons he learned in his most recent setback.

He makes his return to action on Friday, March 11 against Agshin Babaev of Azerbaijan on the supporting card of BRAVE CF 57, which emanates from the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain.

"I prepared for two months. I lived in the gym, and I am ready,” Kadimagomaev declared.

Both men were supposed to face each other at BRAVE CF 52: Bad Blood in August 2021, but the bout didn’t push through as Babaev failed to secure a visa going to Milan, Italy in time for the fight.

"You can ask everybody, everybody is waiting for this fight,” the Swiss quipped.

Although he will share a cage opposite a fighter with a 29-match experience, Kadimagomaev is confident he can put Babaev in danger wherever the fight goes.

“I improved my striking, my wrestling, everything, and I'm going to show everything in the fight,” he said. “ On March 11, I will be victorious."
