Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has found himself a place in the Forbes’ list of highest-paid athletes for the year 2020.
The Irish superstar was ranked 16th in the list and according to Forbes, McGregor got a total of $48 Million or roughly 362 Crore Indian rupees with his fight purses totalling to $32 Million while his endorsements went up to $16 Million.
This is not the first time that McGregor is finding a place in the Forbes list. Back in 2018, he was ranked fourth owing to his big-money showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr. which reportedly took his earnings to $99 million that year.
McGregor had made his return to the UFC octagon earlier this year and secured a first-round stoppage win as well and is expected to fight soon once the COVID-19 pandemic settles down.
As for the rest of the list, it is topped by Tennis legend Roger Federer who is followed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Neymar and Lebron James complete the top five. Federer had a total earning of $106.3 for the year as per the report.
Tyson Fury is the top-ranked boxer in the list as he found himself in the 11th position with a total earning of $57 Million. Anthony Joshua and Deotnay Wilder also came inside the top 20 of the list.
