A Lightweight title bout between reigning world champion Amin Ayoub and top challenger Ahmed Amir is set to co-headline the historical BRAVE CF 50, scheduled for April 1st, in the Kombat Kingdom.

Amin Ayoub became the Lightweight titleholder last year in great style. Since then, a lot of pieces moved in the top part of the 70kg division and his first contender emerged: Ahmed “The Butcher” Amir.

Ahmed Amir is a long-time BRAVE CF veteran, being part of the truly global MMA promotion since its very first event, BRAVE CF 1: The Beginning, back in September, 2016.

In the occasion, Amir shocked the world by finishing the BJJ star Richie “Boogeyman” Martinez in the very first round. Since then, the Butcher got 4 wins, 2 losses, and one draw under the BRAVE CF banner.

With a professional record of 13 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw, the Bahrain-based, Egypt-born KHK MMA fighter is currently on a two-win streak, including a dominant decision victory over Cian Cowley that earned him the title shot.

Currently ranked #2 pound-for-pound fighter in the Middle East, French-Algerian powerhouse Amin “Fierceness” Ayoub holds a professional record of 15 wins and 4 losses and is currently on a staggering 7-win streak.

In his last appearance in the BRAVE CF Arena, when he captured the Lightweight gold, Ayoub put on an MMA masterclass against the former champion Cleiton “Predator” Silva and won via submission in the fourth round.
