BRAVE CF 46: Ali Bagautinov vs Oleg Lichkovakha set to be the co-main event

BRAVE CF's first venture into Russia next month looks promising and exciting after the announcement of several high-level fights. BRAVE CF 46, which takes place in association with Krespost Selection, in Sochi, on January 16th, has become even more of an attraction with the news that MMA veteran and one of Russia’s finest martial artists has found an opponent. Ali Bagautinov will take on Oleg Lichkovakha in a 59kg Catchweight bout that will mark his debut on the fastest-growing organization in the world and will serve as the co-main event for the historic show.

The Russian will make his comeback to the sport of MMA after a brief stint with boxing. A two-time sambo world champion and several accolades in many other martial arts, Bagautinov is one of the most accomplished flyweights the sport has ever seen.

Thanks to his exciting fighting style, ''Puncher King'' has had an array of finishes including knockouts and submissions. He is in for a tricky fight at BRAVE CF 46 as he will face Oleg Lichkovakha. The 24 year old is coming off a first-round stoppage victory against Anton Rachkov in October. Lichkovakha has had only one loss in his last seven fights and will look for a career-defining victory against Bagautinov.

Another huge match-up added to BRAVE CF 46 opposes Murtaza Talha and Dmitry Krivulets. One of the best amateur fighters on the planet, Talha successfully transitioned to professional mixed martial arts last month at BRAVE CF 45, when he submitted Vadim Litvin in the second round of their Light Heavyweight encounter.

The bout against Krivulets will be at a Catchweight of 90 kg as the two-time IMMAF world champion looks to begin his descent to Middleweight.

BRAVE CF 46 is headlined by a clash of titans as Super Lightweight world champion Eldar Eldarov puts his title on the line for the first time against top striker Leonardo Mafra, from Brazil.
