ONE Women's Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee will return to defend her title at the biggest event of the year.

Lee will take on ONE Women's Atomweight World Grand Prix Champion Stamp Fairtex in the main event of ONE X at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday, 26 March.

Stamp surged through the tournament to earn a World Title shot while “Unstoppable” took some time away from the Circle to focus on her family. The Thai sensation’s run of form may be intimidating to an ordinary fighter, but Lee is built differently.

“Stamp is highly credentialed. She is a ONE Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion. She has been at the top, and she knows what it takes to get to the top. I know that Stamp has been doing this since she was a little girl as well. But for the for the majority of her life, she has just been training striking, and mixed martial arts is quite different,” Lee said.

The atomweight queen went on to highlight that Stamp is still fresh to MMA, which is a realm that “Unstoppable” has been dominating for some time.

“I think that with my ground game, I’ve been doing mixed martial arts my whole life, so where I truly feel that I shine the most is in the transitions. On the striking to the wrestling to the grappling to the ground-and-pound, and transitioning through each of those areas seamlessly. I think that’s going to be a problem for her,” Lee asserted.

Despite Stamp’s growing popularity and domination in the Circle, Lee is not worried about the Thai superstar, as she feels confident and secure about her own capabilities.

“I’ve faced world-class strikers in my career, and never once was I afraid. Never once was I overwhelmed. I stand my ground, and I believe in my striking,” she said.

Lee and Stamp will headline ONE X on Saturday, 26 March. Fans can watch the show on watch.onefc.com or through their local pay-per-view provider.
