Amanda Serrano produced a dominant performance in the co-main event of Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz as she picked up a win over Heather Hardy.

Serrano was enjoying success from the start itself and gave no room for Hardy to progress in the fight. As the rounds progressed. Serrano managed to open up and cut Hardy who showed no signs of giving up. In the end, after 10 rounds, it was unsurprisingly Serrano that came out on top on the judges’ scorecard as she took home a win.

Serrano put her undisputed featherweight title on the line against Heather Hardy in the co-main event of the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz card on August 5 in Dallas.

In 2019, Serrano triumphed over Hardy, her fellow Brooklyn resident, securing a gruelling unanimous decision victory and clinching the WBO women's featherweight belt.

Following her victory in August, Serrano sought a rematch with Katie Taylor in Taylor's home country of Ireland. The two had clashed the previous year, marking the inaugural women's headliner at Madison Square Garden and one of the most significant women's boxing matches to date. Serrano had been under the promotion of Paul's Most Valuable Promotions.

Having accumulated a record of 44-2-1, Serrano had achieved two consecutive wins since her close split decision loss to Taylor in April 2022. As the first Puerto Rican-born undisputed world champion in boxing history, Serrano, aged 34, held an impressive 30 knockout victories in her career. Her only defeat in 11 years had been against Taylor. Notably, she had claimed titles in seven different weight divisions.

Meanwhile, Heather Hardy, with a record of 24-2, 1 NC, had secured back-to-back victories, the most recent being a majority decision win over Taynna Cardoso in February. Hardy, known as "The Heat" and promoted by Lou DiBella, had her undefeated record marred by Serrano's victory in 2019. The 41-year-old fighter had also ventured into MMA under the Bellator banner and held the WBO women's featherweight championship titles in 2018 and 2019.
